A school camp or project week is often the highlight of the year for students. At Strandhoeve, we provide the perfect foundation for this adventure. On our own 2-hectare recreational grounds, students can safely push boundaries, collaborate, and, above all, have a lot of fun.

Whether it's an introductory week for first-year students or an educational project week near the UNESCO World Heritage site Schokland, our accommodations are designed for large groups and offer the structure that teachers appreciate. Here, students get the space to grow beyond the classroom walls.

Learning by doing

Use Strandhoeve as a comfortable "base camp" for an educational week. Discover the unique history of the polder, visit the historic harbor of Blokzijl, or explore the nature of Weerribben-Wieden. Our accommodations offer plenty of space for evening programs, presentations, or reflection sessions.

Year-end closing

A legendary farewell from primary school

The very last outing with the entire class should, of course, be unforgettable. Strandhoeve is the perfect place for an amazing year-end celebration for grade 8. Let the students give it their all one last time during an exciting Expeditie Robinson, enjoy the large playground, and wrap up the day with a cozy barbecue or a campfire.

Our safe and well-organized location gives students the freedom they want while providing teachers and parents with the control they need. A farewell they’ll still talk about with excitement during the diploma ceremony!

A flying start for the new class

The fastest way to forge a close-knit group is by tackling challenges together. Our introductory camps are packed with team-building and action. While students get to know each other through raft-building or archery, teachers have a clear base to observe and guide the group dynamic.
