Pantropica
Indoor tropical adventure
Pantropica (formerly known as the Orchideeën Hoeve) is a large, fully indoor jungle park. The park is a combination of a zoo and a botanical garden and has been voted by the ANWB for many years in a row as the 'Most Fun Outing in Flevoland'.
More information
The park is divided into various 'continents' and thematic areas:
Animal World: You will find, among other things, free-flying tropical birds (such as lorikeets and toucans), butterflies in one of the largest butterfly gardens in Europe, flamingos, monkeys, tortoises, and giant catfish.
Botanical Beauty: As the old name suggests, thousands of orchids and other tropical plants can be admired here. A highlight is the Hanami Flowerpark, where you can walk beneath a sea of thousands of floating flowers.
For Children: There is a huge indoor playground called PanAvontura, where children can climb, clamber, and play with water. There are also treasure hunts and a jungle theater.
Experience: You walk along jungle paths, cross rope bridges, and can feed animals yourself in various places (such as the lorikeets with a cup of nectar).
